Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Level Up ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Level Up mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Profile & onboarding details: first name, age, gender (optional), weight, height, fitness level, body-composition estimate, training days, and reminder preferences — used to build your personalized plan.
- Account identifier: if you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides (and your name/email only if you choose to share them). We do not receive your Apple password.
- Waitlist email: if you join our waitlist on this website, we store the email address you submit.
Information created as you use the app
- Activity data: completed workouts, fitness-test results, XP, levels, streaks, daily-challenge completions, and story/chapter progress.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active trial or subscription (managed by RevenueCat and Apple — see Section 4).
What we do not collect
- We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
- We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or health-app data unless a future feature explicitly asks and you grant permission.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. How we use your information
- To generate and adapt your training plan and nutrition targets.
- To track progress — XP, levels, streaks, and story unlocks.
- To deliver the daily-reminder and streak notifications you opt into.
- To operate subscriptions, trials, and restore-purchase functionality.
- To sync your profile across devices when you sign in.
- To respond to support requests and keep the Service secure and functional.
3. Where your data is stored
Your profile and activity data are stored in our backend database hosted by Supabase, and cached locally on your device so the app works offline. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Supabase processes data on our behalf as a service provider.
4. Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We never see or store your full payment-card details — Apple handles billing. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous identifier and your purchase/entitlement status so we can unlock paid features and support "Restore Purchases."
5. Third-party services
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors, each under their own privacy terms:
- Apple — App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, and payment processing.
- Supabase — backend database and authentication.
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management.
6. Your choices and rights
- Notifications: manage or disable reminders any time in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
- Account deletion: you can delete your account and associated data from within the app (Settings → Account). Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and activity data from our systems.
- Access & correction: edit your profile in the app at any time, or contact us at kailevelupapp@gmail.com to request a copy or correction of your data.
- Waitlist: reply to any waitlist email or contact us to be removed.
Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, port, restrict, or delete your data. We honor these requests — email kailevelupapp@gmail.com.
7. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact kailevelupapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice.
